Dear Concealed Carry Shooter,
Most people know me as a nationally ranked competitor on the practical handgun competition circuit, but fail to realize that I have extensive formal training and experience in the military and law enforcement, as an operational officer/Marine as well as in all phases of training development.
I actually began my competitive shooting training to increase my skill level to better prepare myself for the tactical environment I found myself in. After getting my feet wet I found myself training to win national competitions, while analyzing and applying those performance rules to key areas of a performance.
I have created 7 complete training programs specifically related to basic and advanced firearms training for competitive and defensive shooting, and am trained in curriculum design.
Previously I have been:
- President, C.O.O., and the Director of Training at the United States Shooting Academy
- A Senior Instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Charleston, S.C.
- Branch Chief and Lead Instructor for the Federal Air Marshal firearms division.
- A combat veteran of Desert Shield and Desert Storm, with five years of active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps and honorably discharged in 2000
These handgun drills will take you to the next level in your skill development.
As a complete set of 24 concealed carry drills (11 dry fire / 13 live fire), this book will give you the confidence to defend your live if you need to! No matter where you are in your skill level, this book will take you higher.
I hope that it helps you accomplish your shooting goals, and teaches you how to train. These handgun drills are designed to teach the shooter the critical skills necessary to excel in defensive shooting. It is meant to be used as a range guide or by shooters that want to use the drills to design their own program.
If you are like me, you were not graced with superstar natural talent, and have to work for every ounce of skill you have.
Once you're dialed in on those handgun drills, you will be able to self-critique yourself and continue to improve your skills by modifying the concealed carry drills to meet your needs.
